✨ Procedure Preparation – Please Read Before Booking

Your comfort, safety, and results are my top priority. Please review the following information before booking to ensure you are a candidate for cosmetic tattooing. Arriving unprepared or ineligible may result in your appointment being canceled and a cancellation fee applied.

⛔ You May Not Be a Candidate If You Are:

  • Under the age of 18

  • Pregnant or nursing

  • Experiencing active skin conditions (eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, sunburn, acne, open wounds) in the treatment area

  • Diabetic (unless controlled — consult your physician)

  • Epileptic (unless controlled — consult your physician)

  • Undergoing chemotherapy (must be completed at least one year prior)

  • An organ transplant recipient

  • Taking Accutane (must be off for at least one year)

  • On blood thinning medications or supplements (must consult physician)

  • Allergic to nickel (please request a patch test)

  • Prone to hyperpigmentation or keloid scarring

  • Someone with a previous cosmetic tattoo that has not been pre-approved

✨ Before Your Appointment: Please Avoid the Following

  • Discontinue use of retinoids, Retin-A, tretinoin, glycolic or lactic acids (AHA), and any exfoliating products 14 days prior — these thin the skin and make it unsuitable for tattooing.

  • No alcohol, aspirin, ibuprofen, or niacin for 48 hours before your appointment — these can thin the blood and affect healing.

  • Stop fish oil and turmeric supplements at least 14 days prior.

  • No antibiotics or steroids for at least 2 weeks before your session.

  • No tanning or sunburn — skin must be healthy and undamaged.

  • Avoid facial treatments, chemical peels, laser, or electrolysis within 14 days of your procedure.

  • No exercise or caffeine on the day of your appointment — both can increase bleeding and impact healed results.

  • If you are iron deficient, please supplement to support color retention.

  • Botox or filler should be done at least 2 weeks before or after your session.

  • Moles in the treatment area will not be tattooed and scars may retain pigment unpredictably.

✨ If You Have Any Medical Conditions or Take Medications:

Please contact the studio before booking. Some conditions (autoimmune, thyroid, diabetes, etc.) may require physician approval or may not be suitable for tattooing.

✨ On the Day of Your Appointment:

  • Arrive with clean skin (no makeup in the area being tattooed).

  • Do not wear contact lenses if receiving lash line tattooing.

  • No caffeine or exercise that morning.

  • Feel free to bring inspiration photos for reference!

👁 Lash Line Enhancement Clients: Additional Prep

  • Lash extensions must be removed at least 1 week before the procedure.

  • Discontinue lash growth serums (e.g., Latisse, Grande Lash) 60 days prior.

  • No eye makeup or contact lenses the day of your appointment.
